Rocketbook x NAGLY
In honor of Pride Month, the Rocket Squad (aka Rocketbook employees) gathered to assemble 100 care kits for the NAGLY and the LGBTQ+ teens and youth they serve and support.
NAGLY, which stands for North Shore Alliance of LGBTQ Youth, is a place where youth can discuss issues of importance to them, explore their identities, build self-awareness, and learn skills for being safe and healthy. They offer a variety of programs, support groups, educational opportunities, and events for LGBTQ+ youth in Boston's North Shore. Why Boston? Rocketbook HQ is located in Boston, Massachusetts and this is very close to our hearts.
In an assembly-line style team effort, we gathered items which we thought would be most helpful for the youth at NAGLY. Each kit included self-care items like a comb and a lip balm, fidget toys to help with anxiety, fruit snacks, a hand-written note from a Rocketbook team member, and a Rocketbook Mini to jot down thoughts and notes. We hope these kits will be beneficial to the community at NAGLY and look forward to supporting them again in the future!
