How to Erase Pages in Your Rocketbook Everlast

If you've got your Rocketbook Everlast in hand and you're ready to learn how to erase the pages, this post is for you! We worked closely with paper industry experts to find the optimal synthetic polyester blend to create pages that can be wiped clean of FriXion ink. We named it Everlast for a reason. Follow these directions to learn how to use your Everlast infinitely!

Make sure to write with Pilot FriXion ink. Any Frixion pen, marker, or highlighter will work with the Everlast. What won't work with Everlast is dry erase markers, so don't use them unless you want the writing to be permanent (trust us on this!)

Sync your pages with the Rocketbook App before you wipe them clean. We know, that one seems obvious. But you'd be surprised...

Moisten a cloth with water and wipe firmly to clean the ink off. The keyword here is moist. We know you probably hate that word, but it applies. Not sopping wet, not lightly sprayed, but damp. Wetting a towel or washcloth and squeezing out the excess water before wiping will do.

Give your page a few seconds to dry. Depending on how well you followed instruction number three, you may need it. After residual water evaporates off of the page, you may proceed to any other pages that need to be erased.

Would white board eraser wipes work, too?

Greetings

I got my Rocketbook this week and am already enjoying it. I see that I can erase with the Frixon pen eraser and a damp cloth. It there also a larger eraser than the Frixon Pen that can be used? I don’t always have a “damp cloth” nearby so a larger surface eraser would be helpful.

Thanks

I was a previous backer of the Rocketbook Wave. When I saw the KS for the Rocketbook Everlast, I scanned the page, glanced at the video, and thought to myself “Cool. They’ve improved the cover for the Rocketbook so it doesn’t wear as quickly.” I’m a big fan of the Wave and the Waves that I previously owned had a couple issues. The covers had a tendency to wear after a while—not to affect the functionality, but left me sort of wishing that I had found a cover or something so it didn’t look bad. But then I thought—that probably wouldn’t nuke very well… The other issue I had was—after several uses, the pen indentions from regular use. I don’t press down super hard, but not overly soft either, hence you could always sort of see the previous notes and drawings—ever so slightly. Again not really affecting the functionality, but kinda annoying.

I just received my Everlast this weekend. I was very disappointed when I unwrapped it to see that the Rocketbook was significantly thinner and had what seemed to be a third of the sheets that my original Rocketbook had. I did not really follow this Kickstarter as closely as I should have and I actually began taking notes in it at work today. There’s not a gram of paper in this friggin’ thing, is there? I just went to this page and found that not only is it NOT paper, that the dang thing will erase with water OR mild heat (such as the heat produced by friction from the Frixion pens). I’m glad I read the KS page before nuking my Everlast!

Well, that answers the question about why so few sheets. Won’t need them! Thanks for a great (so far) product!

To write on it, does it need to be a frixion pen, frixion marker, or frixion highliter? Or can it be any marker or highlighter?
