The Rocketbook Flip includes all the same upgrades, and the Rocketbook Mini benefits from refreshed materials and design, too. Here’s what’s new across the lineup:
Smarter Organization with Smart Title Bars and Tags
Keeping your notes organized is easier than ever. The Rocketbook Core and Flip now include Smart Title Bars and Tags, built right into the page design. These subtle features let you label your notes as you write, helping the Rocketbook app auto-name your files and sort them efficiently when scanned.
Previously, Smart Titles required the use of two ##s to frame your desired title (##File Name##) - no more! The Smart Title Bar allows you to utilize our Smart Title automatic naming feature, without the use of any special characters.
Simply enable Smart Titles in your OCR settings, write your desired file name in the provided space, and scan your page! After you select your destination(s), the writing will be transcribed and automatically applied as your document title.
Along the bottoms of new Core and Flip pages, Smart Tags give you even more control over your content. Just write a word or short phrase inside the Smart Tag bubbles printed on each page. When scanned, the Rocketbook app recognizes these as searchable tags. You can use them to sort and filter notes within the app, grouping pages by topic, project, or priority.
Smart Titles and Tags have become some of the most popular features among Rocketbook users. Now, they’re built into the page layout so you can organize your notes as you go. Our product team tested different coatings and surface textures side by side using Pilot FriXion pens, aiming to reduce drag, cut down on smudging, and enhance control.
The result is a new page material that provides a smoother, more natural writing experience. It offers the perfect balance of resistance and glide, so your writing feels intentional and effortless. And don’t worry—our signature water-wipe erasability is still here. Even with this upgrade, the ink from Pilot FriXion pens wipes away cleanly with just a damp cloth, leaving your pages ready for your next big idea.

We’ve updated more than just the surface. The Rocketbook Core and Flip now feature a sleek new cover design with subtle texture and refined edges, giving them a more modern, premium feel. Inside, we made thoughtful changes based on real user feedback. The familiar QR code has been replaced with a smaller Data Matrix code to take up less space and give you more room to write. We also redesigned the seven destination symbols at the bottom of each page, making them easier to see and scan. These refreshed elements are more than aesthetic upgrades—they’re designed to help you get more from every page.
