What's Going on at Rocketbook?

If you've heard the news about Rocketbook in the past few weeks, you likely have some questions. We appreciate your patience as we've worked to gather answers for you. Please see below for updates on the future of Rocketbook.

Is it true that BIC is discontinuing the Rocketbook brand?

You are correct that BIC is exiting the Rocketbook business. However, Rocketbook products will still be available for purchase while supplies last. 

BIC will continue to support the app for at least one year after BIC’s exit from the business.

We do not know at this time whether the brand will continue beyond BIC. 

Why did BIC make this decision? 

BIC decided to exit the Rocketbook business in order to focus on the business performance of its core categories. 

Will Rocketbook get bought by another company or close down?

 
BIC is exiting the business. The potential for Rocketbook to be purchased by another company is unknown at this time. 

How long can I use the app?  

BIC will continue to support the App for at least one year after BIC’s exit from the business.

How do I make sure that I don’t lose my saved notes? 

In order to ensure all your notes are saved indefinitely, be sure to upload them to your cloud platform of choice using the Rocketbook app.

In addition to sending individual scans to each destination, you will also be able to resend scans in bulk: 

• On iOS devices: From the History page > Tap the More Actions button > Select > Select All > Share or Resend your files. 
• On Android devices: Go to Scans > Tap the More Actions button > Select > Select the scans you’d like to re-share > Share your files to your desired storage location. 

Can I still return my Rocketbook products?

Items are returnable within 30 days of purchase from getrocketbook.com in accordance with our return policy, unless they are marked as "final sale.”

Final sale products are sold as-is and cannot be returned, refunded, or replaced.

Purchases made elsewhere are subject to the seller’s return policy.

After the App is no longer functional, how can I continue to use my Rocketbook products?

Rocketbook products can still be used without the App to write, erase, and reuse.

There are also many scanning apps that can be used with Rocketbook. We recommend iOS Preview, Adobe Scan, Genius Scan, CamScanner, and iScanner

How long will Rocketbook be available for purchase?

Rocketbook is available for purchase while supplies last on our website, Amazon, and other retailers.

Where can I continue to buy Rocketbook products?

You can find Rocketbook products on Amazon at our Amazon Store Page or on our website getrocketbook.com and other retailers while supplies last.

When do I need to use my gift card by?

All individuals with active gift cards will be contacted in January regarding the use of their card balance.
